Bembridge Harbour food festival 2016

‘Bembridge Harbour Food Festival 2015’ taking place over the weekend of Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 October 2015 at many locations throughout the villages of Bembridge and St Helens and a central venue ‘Hub’, marquee etc. at the BSC, Embankment Road PO35 5NR.

Being a central location on the harbour side with free parking on the Point, walk to Bembridge Village and Fishermans Marina, or a short drive or taxi ride to St Helens and further afield Bembridge.

Bembridge & St Helens are home to no less than ’25 plus ‘Eateries’ (Restaurants, pubs and cafes) with other Foodie shops, Butchers, bakers… green grocers, delis, etc.

  • The Restaurants and pubs will run a particular Festival menu over the weekend and into the following week, from their own premises. 
    Some will be represented in the ‘Hub’, with Chefs entering our competition, providing tasters of their dishes, etc. 
    All Bembridge & St Helens food businesses will be able to be promoted in the ‘Hub’ through menus, leaflets, etc.
  • Foodie shops in our area are invited to take a pitch in the ‘Hub’
  • ‘The Food Hub’ Bembridge Sailing Club –‘Free Entry’ to ALL public etc.
  • To be open 10.00 to 17.00 Saturday & Sunday
  • Some 25 stall holders will promote all our excellent ‘local Foodie businesses’ (St Helens and Bembridge) Including ‘very local’ Bembridge & St Helens and other Island (only) suppliers and producers, selling their products and tasters…
  • The promotion area for all our Eateries
  • Bar – run in conjunction with Goddards Brewery and Eurovines
  • A Food Theatre – including a local Chef’s competition, Talks and demos - ‘foodie related
  • Fishermans Pontoon to be open with Best Dressed Crab’s ‘Seafood Café’ but also with our commercial fishermen and other related businesses available to show their catches/boats, etc.
  • A ‘Foodie Trail’ for bikers and walkers (and even kayaking and SUPs between the waterside locations) with Tackt-Isle Adventures
  • Local Taxis operating around the area
  • Festival programme and recipe book

Bembridge & St Helens, Our beaches, our countryside, downs and woodland, Windmill, Lifeboat, Heritage Centre, etc. and above all our welcoming atmosphere of all local businesses and residents together with our ’25 plus’ Eateries make our area a very special part of the Isle of Wight and shouldn’t be missed - the Bembridge Harbour Food Festival provides a fantastic opportunity to come and visit….
