Stormy weekend: Latest travel news and updates

MORE stormy weather is forecast to hit the Isle of Wight this weekend.
 
An amber 'be prepared' warning for strong winds is in place from 8pm tonight (Friday) to 6am on Sunday. 
 
The Met Office said: "Winds will increase from the southwest during the course of Saturday with severe gales affecting coastal districts, bringing gusts of 60-70 mph and isolated 80 mph at the most exposed locations."
 
An amber warning for heavy rain is also in effect from 8pm tonight (Friday) to 6am tomorrow (Saturday). This will be followed by a yellow 'be aware' warning for heavy rain in force until 11.45pm on Saturday.
 
A flood warning remains in effect for Langbridge and Alverstone on the Eastern Yar, while flood alerts are in place for Gurnard Luck and the Eastern Yar and tributaries from Whitwell to Bembridge.
