What a wonderful few days at Edith Cottage – gorgeous. Rose at the Beach Hut in the afternoon sun a highlight.

Becky & JP Miller August, 2022

Loved staying at Edith Cottage! Some very special evenings on the garden deck and walks down to the Baywatch for sundowners.

Will, Soph, Harrison & Polly August, 2022

Love, love Edith Cottage! Well done for creating such a gorgeous home.

Marian & Paul September, 2022

Perfect combination of elegant and cosy. An exquisitely decorated and comfy home.  Loved the bookshop and the café on the green, walks from the harbour (saw some curfews!) and crab salad at The Best Dressed Crab.

We never wanted to leave! This is a beautiful home, lovingly cared for, and presented exquisitely for guests. It is spacious both indoors and out and offers privacy in the bedrooms. The neighborhood is quiet, the bird song is lovely, and the water views are relaxing. Annabel, the rental agent, is the most helpful agent we’ve ever worked with!!! You will not be disappointed if you stay at Edith Cottage.

Edith Cottage is extremely lovely. We went with another family (4 kids and 3 dogs total), and the house was perfect. The garden is secure for Houdini dogs and the communal living space is very homely, stylish, comfortable, clean and pretty, as in the photos. The kitchen is very well equipped (unlike some Air BnB properties we’ve stayed at), with loads of plates, glasses, cooking utensils, the works. There’s a separate utility room with washer, dryer and microwave, and a pantry with loads of storage too. In short, perfect for families! The location is nice, we walked to St Helen’s beach (10 mins) for crabbing but had to drive to Bembridge for supplies, but that was no problem. What stood out the most was how brilliant HB Lettings were in their communication and information. We were given a digital guide to the property that was invaluable, and Annabel also booked our ferry, which was helpful. The sun deck in the garden as a highlight, and really does catch the sunshine!

Thanks for a great stay, comfortably fitted 2 families with kids and dogs. House is exactly as described, everything worked perfectly. Great communication from HB Holiday Letting’s especially on check out which was appreciated. Highly recommend for a trip to the Island, St Helen’s is the perfect location.

An extremely well presented, clean and tidy holiday home. My family and I were very happy whilst staying there and everything we needed was catered for. The location was also perfect with a local pub and beach in very close walking distance. We would (thinking next year) be very happy to stay there again.

Fantastic house , in a great location, with lots of space for everyone, we were a group of 7, spanning 3 generations.

Beautifully decorated with all the kitchen equipment you need. A lovely secure garden for our dachshund, with lots of dog friendly walks available from the doorstep.

We enjoyed eating our supper in the conservatory watching the Rooks nest for the night in a distant tree. The green at St Helen’s with its football goals kept our 14 year old sons busy.

Dionne July, 2023

Edith Cottage is a beautiful and homely house with everything we needed. It catered for three generations very easily, with plenty of space, seating and entertainment. It is beautifully decorated and was spotlessly clean when we arrived! It’s in a great position, St Helens is small and quiet and with the house just a short walk to a beach, it’s the perfect place for an early morning swim! The nearest pub, the Vine Tree is a really good all round pub, a varied menu with great food! The lettings agent, Annabel, was brilliant. Very responsive to any questions we had, very helpful and friendly. It was a great holiday overall and I would definitely stay here again!

Sandra July, 2023

An absolutely PERFECT stay – beautifully presented home in a peaceful surrounding with so much to explore within walking distance. A great base for a visit to the Isle of Wight. Well equipped for everything we need – really felt a home away from home. We can’t wait to come back.

Shannan October, 2023

The best rental we’ve stayed in. Equipped to an exceptional standard, comfortable and homely. Outstanding.

Rob October, 2023

Beautiful house, a true home from home. Very well equipped for cooking, cosy and comfortable accommodation, would highly recommend the house. We stayed , 8 adults, and it was perfect. Truly wonderful house, no problems

Fiona November, 2023

We had an absolutely lovely short stay at Edith Cottage. The house is beautiful and has everything you could want or need. The accommodation provides plenty of space and bathrooms for a family gathering. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Margaret February, 2024

The house is absolutely beautiful and a perfect place for a family weekend! The house is very light and bright and a lovely place to enjoy a bit of sun. The downstairs bedroom makes it really accessible for older people or people with mobility issues and there are only a couple of steps up into the house/up onto the deck area. We came with our 89 year old grandfather and he loved it.

RhiAnnon March, 2024

Edith Cottage is a hidden gem. A large family home from home, perfectly situated to get out and about.

Laura April, 2024

We had a wonderful time at Edith Cottage. The house was beautiful and kept extremely clean, love the garden with the wild flowers, a burst of colour and kept well. This house has the WOW factor and would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to stay with our dogs at your beautiful home.

Marion June, 2024

A beautiful place to stay. A well equipped and comfortable house in a fabulous area. It suited our three generation family get together and you couldn’t have been more helpful.

Theresa June, 2024

Thanks again for a brilliant couple of weeks at Edith Cottage, the house is brilliant and we’ve had an amazing couple of weeks. You can really tell the house is well cared for.

Jamie August, 2024

There were six adults and our small dog staying for four nights, the house had plenty of space for everyone, and all the amenities and facilities we needed. The interior was furnished to a very high standard and was tastefully done, it felt like home from home. When we visit isle of Wight again, we will definitely rebook this property.

Simon October, 2024

Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house. It was a lovely place, in a lovely location. The house served us very well as it had the downstairs bedroom with an ensuite which suited our elderly father. It was in a great position with a walk to the harbour only a few minutes away and a lovely pub a five minute walk.

Vanessa October, 2024

We loved our stay at Edith Cottage. An utterly beautiful home. Everything had been thought of – the kitchen was fully equipped and gorgeous, the bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious and the living areas, garden and decking area were so relaxing. The house is walking distance from the village green with the most amazing second hand bookshop (and a pub), or over the causeway to Bembridge with its bakeries and independent gift shops, or to St Helens Duver for a lovely coastal walk. Special mention to Annabel, who is possibly the most helpful rental agent I’ve met. Lots of communication, well in advance, meant that we felt fully informed and supported at all times. Would totally recommend and thank you for a lovely break.
