We are dog friendly & also, recently renovated to have 3/4 beds and 2 bathrooms including a downstairs double bedroom with cloakroom and shower room opposite. 19 Lower Green Road is a most surprising house and that’s what I love about it! There is so much space hidden behind the double doors; it just goes on and on until you get to the large kitchen and the bedrooms and bathroom won’t let you down either. It has a wonderful friendly feel, some quirky features and has been thoughtfully and lovingly furnished. Direct access to the village green and close to the beach, dogs are welcome, the perfect holiday home for you and your family.
Enter through the doors to living room with large comfortable sofa and further window seating area, cosy log burner and TV. A vinyl mixer decks for the music lovers so remember to bring your vinyls! Through to the hallway with downstairs double bedroom if required with cloakroom with shower opposite.
Hallway with desk and door to utility room and to the outside : through to the large kitchen with seating for 6/8. Plenty of cupboards and work surfaces, sky lights and double doors to the outside area.
Back through to the hallway to the staircase which takes you up to the pretty twin bedroom, with bed side table, lamp, chest of drawers and hanging space. Half landing to double bedroom with cupboard, bedside tables and lamps. The large master bedroom super king bed and stunning views over the green, hanging space, bed side tables and lamps and drawers. The family bathroom is large with bath and shower over, WC and WHB.
Outside is a courtyard accessed by the kitchen and hallway and stairs up to area for outside eating and inside bar area with a proper bar!

Super stylish house, very spacious, comfortable beds. Wonderful location the walk to the beach is short and beautiful. Not a lot of outdoor space but you have the lovely green out the front.

A beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean house situated in a lovely village. We stayed for 4 nights and found many exciting walks in the area. The location to the beach is fantastic and very easy to get to on foot. Everything you could need is there and even more including a fabulous inside rooftop bar area and outside deck. The village has a small shop, a pub and the house has a great view over the green. We would definitely return.’ – Amanda

My daughters and I had a fantastic stay. St Helen’s is lovely and we were able to find great places to eat despite the restrictions and time of year. The accommodation was great. Really clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. The real plus was being able to bring our dog. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the property and the area.

As a family of four and dog in toe this was the perfect house for our stay in St Helen’s. The location and green outside your door was perfect outside space. We loved both the kitchen and the living room space (and bar up on the terrace ). Both couch and beds were super comfortable. We didn’t want to leave. It was great that the premises had a dog crate available for our cockerpoo too and he was very comfortable. We recommend taking a dog stair stop for the stairs but everything else was there for us to use. The beach and marshes at st. helens and bembridge are excellent for dogs and a lot quieter than the main seaside towns . Baywatch on the beach , the beach hut were our go to places for lunches nearby. 33 St. helens was next door which was handy for coffee and croissant runs in the morning before heading off for adventures around the island. Highly recommend, it’s been one of favourite stays in IOW. Annabel was amazing host, super helpful , quick to respond and arranged our boat trip from the mainland. We’ll definitely be back .
What a great place. The location is a perfect base to get anywhere on the island. The house is quirky and cool and super comfortable beds and couch. Very well equipped, and just a really enjoyable place to stay. Would recommend it.

We absolutely loved this property, I would move in tomorrow if I could! Beautiful and cosy with a gorgeous garden. Hosts were so helpful and allowed early check in. Super app with all the instructions and recommendations, plus help booking ferry crossings. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Fabulous house and so easy to walk down to the beach. Loved the house – just a pity the weather was so amazing that we barely spent much time there but would be good for a trip away any time of year. will be back
Loved our stay. The house was perfect for us all. We’d be back in a heartbeat and in fact none of us wanted to leave. Everything we needed was in the house and the beds were immaculate and very comfy. Couldn’t recommend more.
Fabulous stay thank you. The house itself is great and as someone else said – just like a Tardis ! Beds are super comfortable and great location in the village. We loved the ease of walking down to Bembridge beach, cricket on the green outside. A highlight was Annabel’s suggested walk over the downs down in to Seagrove and a walk along to the pub in Seaview. Amazing lunch out at the Garlic farm – a must for anyone visiting !
