The beaches at Ryde offer miles of sandy shores. A promenade stretches from the foot of the pier, eastwards past the pleasure beache, stretching down to Appley past the Gothic structure of Appley Tower, and then on to Puckpool. There are a number of eateries along the coast and cafes towards the Puckpool/ seview end. Ryde’s East Beach currently holds a Seaside Award.
